MW4 Loadout Generator

Create a custom MW4 loadout online in one click — primary, secondary, lethals, tacticals, perks and killstreaks. Free, instant, no sign-up.

About the weapon list: the weapons, attachments, perks and killstreaks below come from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) — the most recent Modern Warfare title with a settled, well-documented roster. Modern Warfare 4 launches on 23 October 2026 and its full multiplayer arsenal has not been published, so this generator uses data it can verify rather than inventing guns that may not exist. The lists will be updated once MW4's weapons are known.

A loadout is a set of picks, not one pick

The MW4 Loadout Generator builds a complete Call of Duty class in one click, choosing a primary and secondary weapon with attachments, plus lethal and tactical equipment, three perks, a field upgrade, and killstreaks.

Players use it to break out of routine setups, get a starting point they can then tweak in-game, or quickly copy a class as plain text. Every roll is random but weighted, so each result stays coherent rather than fully chaotic.

Where the data comes from. The weapon, attachment, perk and killstreak pools are taken from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) — the most recent Modern Warfare game with a settled, verifiable roster. Modern Warfare 4 arrives on 23 October 2026 and its multiplayer arsenal has not been published in full, so this generator sticks to what it can stand behind rather than inventing guns that may not exist. Only the contents of the pool change when MW4's weapons are known; the tool and its playstyle weighting stay the same.

The slots every roll fills

A loadout is not one random pick, it is a set of picks that have to fit together. The generator fills every slot below on each press, drawing from lists held in the page itself:

SlotWhat it holdsChoices in the generator
PrimaryYour main weapon, drawn with playstyle weights74 weapons across six classes
AttachmentsOptic, muzzle, magazine and grip6 optics, 5 muzzles, 4 magazines, 7 grips
SecondarySidearm to switch to instead of reloading20 pistols and launchers
Lethal and tacticalGrenades and utility8 lethal, 7 tactical
Field upgradeEquipment you deploy for the team10 field upgrades
PerksOne perk from each of three tiers7 per tier, 21 in total
KillstreaksRewards earned during the match13 offensive, 5 support

Each slot is drawn independently, which is why a roll can feel incoherent: nothing stops the generator from pairing a long-range optic with a weapon class that never uses it. That is a feature for the purpose this page serves and a flaw for any other, so read the result as a starting point to argue with rather than as a build somebody tuned.

What the playstyle settings change

The playstyle dropdown does not filter the list, it reweights it. Every weapon class carries a weight, and a class with a higher weight is drawn more often. The weights are relative to each other rather than percentages, so a class is never impossible, only unlikely.

PlaystyleFavoured classesEffect on the draw
RandomNoneEvery class weighted 1, so the draw is flat across the six classes
Run & GunSMG, shotgunSMG weighted 3.2 and sniper 0.2, so close-range picks dominate
SniperSniper, marksmanSniper weighted 3.4, marksman 2.2, shotgun 0.2
SupportLMG, assault rifleLMG weighted 3.4, sniper 0.4
StealthSMG, sniperSMG 2.2 and sniper 1.8, with a stronger pull towards suppressors

Two consequences are worth knowing. Inside a single playstyle the spread between classes can be large: on Sniper, a class weighted 3.4 against one weighted 0.2 comes up seventeen times as often, and it is still never impossible, so reroll enough times and you will see the unlikely one. And because the setting only biases the weapon slot, the playstyle you choose shapes your primary far more than it shapes the perks or the streaks.

What a randomiser is, and what it is not

This page is a way to break a habit. Players settle into one weapon and stop noticing what else is in the game, and a random loadout forces you to play a class you would never pick, which is where you learn what the map actually rewards. Everything the generator knows comes from the lists inside the page: 74 primaries is a curated set rather than every weapon ever shipped, and the page has no idea which balance patch you are on, so treat a roll as a suggestion and not as advice about what is strong this season.

The randomness itself comes from the browser's built-in generator, which is quick and perfectly adequate for picking a weapon at random. It is the wrong tool when the result has to be defensible to other people: a league drawing its draft order, or a group deciding who buys lunch, needs a draw that can be checked afterwards. The fantasy draft order randomiser is built for that case, and the secret Santa generator solves the same problem for gift exchanges - same idea as this page, with the fairness question taken seriously.

Reading a generated loadout

  1. Pick a "Playstyle" from the dropdown — Random, Run & Gun, Sniper, Support, or Stealth — or leave it on Random.
  2. Click the green "Generate Loadout" button to roll a full class into the dark card.
  3. Read the Primary and Secondary lines, each with its weapon class tag and attachment chips.
  4. Check the Lethal, Tactical, Perks, Field Upgrade, and Killstreaks sections below them.
  5. Click "Copy" to copy the whole loadout as text, then paste it wherever you build your class.

Turning a roll into a plan

FAQ

Is this the official MW4 loadout builder?

No. This is an independent, fan-made random generator for fun and inspiration, not an official Activision tool.

Can I choose specific weapons or attachments?

Not directly. You pick only the playstyle; the tool randomly selects the weapons, attachments, and equipment within that style.

Does it use MW4's actual weapons?

Not yet. Modern Warfare 4 releases on 23 October 2026 and its full multiplayer weapon, attachment and perk list has not been published. Rather than guess at names and ship a generator full of guns that may not exist, this tool currently runs on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) roster — real, verifiable weapons, attachments and perks. Those pools will be replaced with MW4 data once the roster is confirmed.

Does it include every gun in the game?

It covers a broad, verified list of assault rifles, SMGs, shotguns, LMGs, snipers, marksman rifles and secondaries from Modern Warfare (2019). Weapons added to that game later in its life cycle are not all included, and MW4 guns are not included yet — see the question above.
